dual nationality?

We applied for BC but if my husband wanted to become dual nationality since UK and Turkey allow it.... how do u go about doing that ? anyone know?

From UK side you don't have to do anything, not sure about Turkey.

so it just means that u have two passports then and u can use either one when travelling ? ( obviously UK one is better )

Correct, my wife is also dual national but uses her British Passport.

Once your husband is naturalised, he needs to contact Turkish Embassy in UK. He has to let Turkish embassy know that he's got British citizenship too otherwise he might have to pay fine or lose his Turkish citizenship (that's what Turkish embassy website says). I'm Turkish too, that's why I know it :)

It's better him to contact Turkish embassy once he's naturalised as it's not worth taking the risk even tho I don't think he would lose his Turkish citizenship if he doesn't let them know but he would have to pay fine I guess.

On the top right corner of that page, there is a Union Jack flag and written English under it. If you click this, you can read the page in English too, dont have to wait for translation! :P
