Applied for citizenship

I applied for British Citizenship with my family on 8th of May 2014, and till now I hear nothing from the HO, I just received the acknowledgment letter. I don't know why it took all this time and according to the instructions do not take more than six months just in case requiring more information and.

I wonder what I have to do as I sent letters, emails, but no answers or any responds.

Did you try ringing them? If you're really frustrated then you can complaint to local MP who will contact Home Office on your behalf. You can also complaint at Ombudsman.

Just realised you applied last year! Jeez that's no good. Definitely contract your local MP and complain.

but my husband has just applied even though he has 11 months ILR but saying that, he came here in June 2012 but got ILR in July 2014 so his 3 year residence was up on 3rd June 2015.
