How to meet RQP while working as a volunteer worker

Dear all,

I humbly request if anyone could kindly help me with my question as I tried to ask my solicitor as well as Further Nationality Enquiries email services and could not receive any clear answer.

I am an EEA national and I would like to apply for Permanent Residence to acquire British Citizenship. I am currently doing a full-time volunteer work for charity organization in the UK carrying out services 7 days a week for board and meals without receiving any monetary returns. For this I would be able to provide documentary evidence from the organization. Which of the given activity types should I choose to reflect my activity in the UK for the Residential Qualifying Period (RQP):
Working/Self-employed/Self-sufficient/Studying/Jobseeker/Temporary incapacity/Vocational training/Family member only/Other - please state (read as "Voluntary worker")?
Is there anything else that should be provided along with the documentary evidence from the organization I am volunteering for to substantiate my RQP.

Thank you very much!

Kind regards,
Dmitry

How are you supporting yourself?

I think that is the question Home Office wants to seek answer to.

Thank you for your response.

I support myself with own savings in areas which override the matters of board and meals. However in some areas the organization can give support too (e.g. telephone bills, some travel costs, etc).
