Hi All,
Please clarify on below points,
Applied on 25th June (sorry just found I gave wrong date on my previous post) using NCS.
a) Money deducted on 28th June (Sunday ?) from my Credit card by Nationality check . Is this how it happens ? Money taken not by Home office or UKBA ? And on Sunday ?
b) How do we get an acknowledgement that HO have received our application ? email or post ? its 2nd working day (excluding Sat and Sunday) . And money already taken , when will we get a acknowledgement ?

They deducted ours on a Friday. Received acknowledgement and biometric letter on the following wednesday.

They use second class post so if they deducted on a sunday, id guve it to at least Friday for a letter acknowledgement. Or in some cases they acknowkedge by email so you may get that in a few days instead.

oh and on your bank statement, the transaction will show ' nationality directorate Liverpool '

The 'UKBA' was abolished by Theresa May in 2013.

I have not recived acknowledge ment letter or email still ... anything to worry about ? should I contact them ? please share email id or phone number...

People don't always receive an acknowledgement - we never did for our case, so I wouldn't worry.

The HO discourages enquiries until after 6-months has passed but here's the contact details anyway:

but then what about Biometrics enrollment letter ? I thought Acknowledgement letter and Biometrics both will be on same letter ?

I dont know what theyre up to! Some people still waiting for biometrics yet a lot of the june applicants already debited fees and done biometrics....my husband included.

Applied - 25th June
Money taken - 28th June
Acknowledgement - Waiting
Biometrics - Waiting.

3rd week now , still no acknowledgement or Biometrics letter ... Any one in my situation ? Any action required from my side.. ?

I am still waiting for the letters for acknowledgment and Biometrics. Refers to "June Naturalisation Application Timeline" , u may know that some applicants who applied it later than us ------but letters Ack. n Bio have received. ( ??????)

I applied on 29th of June, fees debited on 2nd July, acknowledgement letter + biometric received 5th July, biometric submitted on 9th July and now awaiting results.

Not sure anyone else in my Situation. I am still waiting for my Biometrics request letter. applied on June 25th using NCS,its more than a month and now am worried. Emailed this last Monday to Home office , but no response and no use calling them as its within 6 months. Some one please help me to understand waiting is only option for me ?

Feeling worried now , I Applied using NCS Bexley on 25 June 15,Money was taken 28 June 15. Till now have not received Bio metric request letter or Acknowledgement letter.
a) Mine is a straight forward case.
b) No illegal working
c) Holidays less than 80 days for last 5 years.
I understand its holiday season, there might be some delay. But I can see june and july applicants (most of them) received Biometrics request letters long back.And most of them received acknowledgement letter too.
With the money paid, I would have expected some sort of reply or progress in my case as its nearly 1.5 months. Emailed them , no reply. Calling them , could not get some one.
Are there anyone waiting like me who applied same period ? Or any suggestions to get an update in my case ? Please advice.
