I have become the British national, can I still use my biometric card to travel on Pakistani passport.

Confusion.....I have name on Pakistani passport as Mr A B and when I got my British passport I partially changed it to Mr Mian A B.

Need to know under what name I book the ticket for pakistan, I still have my name change deed poll with me.

Pls advice

Once you receive British citizenship, your BRP card becomes invalid. Some people have reported that they used to be able to travel with their BRP card and non-British passport before 2012, but since 2012, your biometrics are deleted after citizenship, so the BRP card is useless to re-enter the country.

You are best off getting a British passport in your new name (doesn't "Mian" mean "Mr." in Urdu?) and also ensuring that your Pakistani passport is in the same name before traveling.

@secret.simon - OP states he already has his British Passport :roll:

@CR001, I missed that.

To the OP: I think the only option that you have is to have your Pakistani passport reissued with the same name as your British passport and then purchase a ticket in the same name.

NICOP with new name should suffice. Get tickets on British Passport and show NICOP on airport in Pakistan.
