Hi Everyone

I am new to this forum and don't know much how to post etc.
I have received a letter from home office today saying " following our assessment of your case unfortunately it appears your application will not be processed within the six months target. This is because your application raises exceptionally complex issues and we require further time to consider your case."
I have never been arrested, no court cases pending, no dvla violations then what are the exceptionally complex issues.
Has anyone ever received such letter before? And how long more will home office take?
Plz plz help

What was your visa status before ILR?

Are ALL your tax affairs in order?

Ever done a TOEIC English test?

Many thanks for the reply. I was on Tier 1 General prior to ILR. All my tax matters are fine. And I have never done TOEIC.

Hi

This is an excellent way to tell you that we are lazy and useless turds and won't be able do the job in time.

This is what it clearly means.

Just don't worry life won't end any where. I bet you were living before your bc and you'll live the same life after this as well.

Good luck for BC.

Were you self employed on T1G or on PAYE with a company?

Any CCJs or anything like that which you might have or not know about?

If there is nothing, then I am not sure if this is perhaps just a standard email notification.

Yes, except for travelling to foreign embassy's for holiday visa! One of the best perks of being British.

I also applied on March and still waiting for communication for HO. I am self employed and pay minimum salary. I believe the delay is due to HO doing further checks... Anyway, lets see whats going to happen.

Sorry for replying late, Actually had my ankle twisted very badly and was on bed for few days. As far as CCJ'S are concerned, I checked my credit report and it is very good. No CJJ. Should I ask my MP to write a letter a ask for reason.
