Hello guys, not sure if this topic has been covered but I really thought Passport service must be having a laugh when I first saw these questions.
They want to know the names of my grand parents, their dates of birth, place of birth and dates of marriage!

In the part of the world where I'm originally from, people only started keeping proper birth and marriage records in recent decades. I have friends whose parents are not even sure of their DOB not to mention dates for grand parents! My parents are as perplexed as I am!

How do I fill these details for British passport application for a first time adult passport?

Who has been through this? How did you handle this short of pulling out dates from thin air!

Grandparent details are NOT required for passport application for those who have naturalised as British. Page 12 and 13 clearly indicate an X (not required) in the table for naturalised citizen passport applications. Passport Application Guidance Notes (click)

I am sorry but what I can see is that you DO need to give those details but it is the applicant's parents NOT grandparents

You are wrong C001 as it does say you DO need to give those details but it is the applicant's parents NOT grandparents
Where exactly in my post did I say 'parents' and where did the OP ask about 'parents'?? (my reply to you based on your original response before you edited/deleted/reposted)
