Dears ,
Do i have a right to change my first and surname when i fill a British citizenship application form for a first time , i want to use a difference name than my current passport , is that possible ?
IN the application form mentioned that but i am not very sure what does mean with it ..

My first name on my Swedish passport is Allan i want to change it to Rami
my surname is Jamil i want to change it to Harbi ....

Is that possible ....... please help

No, you have to complete the form with the names as they appear in your foreign passport.

HO and passport office are becoming quite strict. Most forum users now apply for citizenship, then passport and once that is done, they apply by deed poll to change their name and then reapply for a replacement British passport with proof of name change.
