Hi All,
Please give me some suggestion for that,
I have been working for four and half years only with an employer till now.
I am eligible to apply the Naturalisation this month after one year ILR period.
Is it mandatory to prove at least 5 years employment history for the Naturalisation?

Employment is NOT a requirement for naturalisation.
If you have only worked for 4.5 years, then that is all the details you need to include.
Please remember the form is for applicants who have various lengths of residence so the question is applicable to all and you only need to complete the truthful circumstances of yourself.

Hi everyone,
can anyone clarify what is actually meant by 10 years employment history? I mean is it let say from 18th September 2005 till 18th September 2015, or from tax year start date which could be 6th april 2005 till 5th april 2015?
From which date we need to count 10 years, if applying today or around?
kind advise would be appreciated.
Thanks

It is 10 years counting backwards from when you complete the form and apply. It is not a trick question.

Thanks CR001
But I think you do not know one thing that HMRC does have the record from APRIL to APRIL and N.I people told me that they only have the record till last years, bcz for the current year which was ended on 5th april companies takes time to submit record and would be available in jan-16, so 2014-15 N.i record could be ordered and check after jan-2016............. that's why dear I asked what the other followers had experience to count the 10 years from either april or the date they are applying.
Hope you can understand now!!!1

Your application is not based on the HMRC financial tax year. It is based from the date you apply.
You complete the form with all the details up to the date you apply. If you don't complete all the details as required and HO checks, you could be asked or accused of withholding information.
HMRC have all up to date information on people, it is not just NI but PAYE tax, all linked and traceable with your NI number. HO have their ways to check your information.

Thanks CR001 for your detailed information, but dear i am accountant too and i am 100% till what date HMRC have record for the current period, if you r not sure then call at 03002003311, 03002003500.....
you could be right in saying count from the date when you r applying, but i just wanted to have a experience of people who had applied and how they count &? mentioned 10 years employment history, bcz if someone does not mention right period then it could be trouble as well.
