I am a British Citizen(Naturalized) and my baby born in USA and I want to apply British passport to my baby.
1.Do I need to register my baby first and than apply for passport?
Or
Can apply passport without registering baby?
2.For passport what documentation do i need to submit?
3.Will any of the British Consulates in USA will do the passport applications?? or the application and the required supporting documents need to be sent to UK?

any help or advice on this will be very much appreciated...

If you naturalised before the child's birth, your child is British (by descent) and you can directly apply for a passport for them.

Passport applications are now processed in the UK and can take 6 months or more. This link may help https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... _09.15.PDF

If need to travel back to the UK with you baby a Certificate of Entitlement application may be quicker.
