Hello Moderators,
I have recently been granted ILR (30 Sept).
Been in the UK since Feb 2007 on student visa till Apr 2009 when I applied for PSW visa.
Applied for Tier 1 General in june 2010
Extension on Tier 1 General in 2012.
Therefore all together I have spent 8 years in uk.
Please confirm if I need to wait 12 months before I can apply for naturalisation or I am eligible to apply say next month?

Will look forward to your response.

Hurray!!!! I am really grateful to God and those who have contributed/shared their experiences on this forum.

I applied last week (30 Sept) at Croydon PEO Tier 1 ILR.

Got in at 7:30am with a token number100
Was the first to give my biometric
please ensure you submit ONLY required documents.
Don't try to impress the case worker with extras.
Still awaiting my biometric to be delivered hopefully
this week.

I wish everyone the best of luck.
Please feel free to ask me any question.

Wait for at least a year after ILR, unless you are the spouse or civil partner of a British citizen.

Yes, that's correct, you need to wait for 12 months to apply for naturalisation unless you are married to a British citizen and have been for three years, then you can apply straight away.
