Hi,

First of all Thank you all experts who has helped us through difficult journey of immigration.

I have got my Naturalisation approved last week. Now I would like to apply for my spouse. I would like to know what documents do i need to send with the naturalisation application for my spouse.

She has done ESOL B1 Grade 5 (Entry 3) in March 2014. Does she need to re do the English test or this is ok. we are planing to apply on 3rd November 2015 through NCS.

Thank you once again.

Congrats on your approval.

The documents required are :Her passport, Your passport, her BRP, marriage certificate ( with a translation of not English ),
Life in the UK and language test.
The rules change on 5th November so applying on the 3rd withh that certificate is really cutting it fine. To be on the safe side she's better off doing a trinity college English exam else

chocolateorange88 is correct in advising that you will be cutting it fine. The qualifying date is the recorded as the date the Home Office receive the BC application, unlike visas where the postal date is relevant. This means that the earliest the application will be received is the 4th November...one day later and you will have missed the boat. :|

Hello

sorry to gate crash this post, iv read the rules on the Government website in regards to them changing around 5th Nov but they are not very clear, my wife has her entry level 3 Esol certificate which she passed this year in August, and she is currently studying towards her life in the UK test,

so my question is after Nov 5th 2015 what will change or what else would she need to do please?
will her Esol certificate become invalid? she has studied really hard in college for nearly 3 years to get her entry level 3, and now they are changing the rules! please can someone clarify?

Thank you
