Dear All,
I have applied for my son nationality using MN1 route on 28th May 2015, as you know that, HO is taking so long to process the applications and we need to travel as their is an emergency. I would like to travel ASAP, so my question is can we travel and enter in UK by showing nationality certificate to immigration officer on airport? As he don't have any other visa and he born in UK. We want to fly as soon we got his nationality certificate perhaps same day.
Thank you

The difficulty is probably not the UK Immigration Officers.

Airline staff are probably not trained to recognise the validity of UK naturalisation certificates. Without proper entry clearance or leave or a British passport or a CoE-RoA in a foreign passport for child, it may be too risky for the airlines to let the child board the plane.

Thank you Vinny.
It looks like we are stuck :( Home office should have any process if there is any urgent need or emergency. I call Home office to ask for an update but they didn;t even listen to me and said can't help as the application is still within six months.
I understand that, there is a process and ready to follow but there is urgent need of travel otherwise I don't even bother these matters.
Any suggests to get a quick response ?

I am on ILR, I already have applied for FLR (m) for my wife, can I apply for dependant visa for my son (born in UK) while his MN1 application is in process ? If so, under which route I should apply?
