Time between Ceremony and Passport application

Dear All,
Yet another query for me,
Is there any time limit on period between accepting citizenship certificate/ceremony and passport application?
My ceremony is on 2nd November and I am planning a short India trip in Dec/Jan. I think it is sensible to apply for British passport once I come back from India, does this sound acceptable ? is there any rule or guidance on this please?
Also has any one noticed, different council charging different fees for private citizenship? Any one else came across this?
Thanks

No time limit.
Yes, it's a free market/capitalism.

None for a UK passport. There isn't even a requirement for you to have a British passport.
But, given that you are traveling to India, I would assume that you are currently an Indian citizen. If so, you can only travel on your Indian passport for 90 days from the date of your naturalisation. Any further travel could lead to fines and issues with Indian authorities. So, be sure to be back by the end of January.

Thanks a lot for your information.
Yes, my ceremony is on 2nd November which means that's the day I am getting 'actual citizenship' ! and I am planning a short visit and def will be back by 10 January. Will be very easy for to apply for passport after that plus OCI to follow as I won't be in rush as such !
Many thanks again.
