Hi Guys,

Can someone please advise me if the following referees are acceptable :


1. Professional referee: My friend who was initially on Student Visa then he passed ACCA + MBA , then he got PSW and Now he is on Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa and has Pakistani Passport. He is running his own Accountancy firm.

2. Second referee: He is British Citizen and has not criminal record. But he is jobless and living on benefits.

1. If he is registered as an accountant with the relevant governing bodies, it should be fine.

2. Is this referee over the age of 25? If so, should not be an issue provided he has no criminal convictions etc.
