Hi,
While applying for AN1 (after 1 year of ILR and 5 year T1 (G)), is it necessary that you must be in the UK exactly 5 years before?
For Example If I am planning to apply on 20/12/2015 and I was out of UK for holidays between 15/12/2010 and 03/01/2011?
Or I have to wait till 04/01/2016?
Thanks

Yes, if you were not physically present exactly 5 years ago, your application will be refused.
Or I have to wait till 04/01/2016?
Yes.

Sorry to add my question , but will be relevant ,
Postal I understand it is the date HO receives , but If some one apply using NCS , is it Application date to NCS or the date HO receives, accounted to check presence before 5 year ?

It has recently changed and the date of application is the date you attend NCS.
Please ask your questions in your own thread to avoid confusion.
