Passport application after Ceremony

Dear All,

I have some query regarding timing of my passport application.

Me and my family are ready to apply for British Passport. We need to travel in Dec-Jan so basically we want to apply asap. However we will be moving to different address around 22nd November 2015 (Moving 150 miles away from where we live at the moment).

Can someone give me advice what's the best thing to do in terms of address on the application form?

- Shall I give current address and divert all letters from 21st November onward. Reason being guidance notes says 'should give current address where you living'?

- Shall I put down my future address where we will be living from 22nd November? (I am getting house keys on 16th November, the day I am signing my contract for the property). My letting agency have no issue if I opt for that.

I guess we can opt for any centre for interview? also there is a provision in section 8 to write extra information? can this be use to explain anything?

Hoping to get some advice.

Thanks.

Put your current address and provide new address from x date in the additional information section. Set up Royal Mail redirection but remember redirection does delay your mail.

You are being hopeful that you will have your passport in time and your documents back. Christmas season is a busy time like the summer. Any reason you can't wait to apply once you are back in the new year to avoid any problems.
