Language requirement for UK citizenship

Post by tarczylukm » Sun Nov 08, 2015 7:18 pm

I have a FCE which I passed in 1999 and I am a EU citizen. Is this certificate still valid for applying for British citizenship as I am not sure after looking at the list on goverment website.

I found:
http://www.cambridgeenglish.org/why-cam ... ration/uk/

which seems to say that it is still valid dacument to use in citizenship application for EU citizens, however it is not on the approved list of ceritficates on UK goverment website

https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... uage-tests

Anyone can clarify this?

The link to FCE page does not mention that it is acceptable for UKVI. So you have to choose a test from latest approved test list and take the test. Good luck.
Being British is a state of mind.
