Hi,

For citizenship applications, Form MN-1 and Form AN, does the optional NCS service have any advantages over applying directly to Home Office? You get the original documents back at the same time for NCS. Other than that is there any clear advantage? Are applications processed faster if one takes the NCS route?

No there is no difference in the processing times in applying through NCS or directly. However i would always recommend using NCS as you get to keep your original documents including your passport which can be used to travel in an emergency.

Nope. Other than that getting your original documents back, NCS checks your application form and documents and can call HO directly for clarity if they have any questions.

NCS also offers peace of mind if you are having any difficulties filling out the form. They will go through it and check you have completed it correctly.

NCS also covers the cost of despatch of your application bundle to HO for you.
