Can I apply BC and OCI from India?

I have just received my ceremony letter which takes place in 2 weeks time. Have been extended an offer to work in India, on acceptance of which I will have a month to take up the post

What are my options
- Should I apply for BC in India and surrender Indian passport and apply OCI there as well?
- Should I apply BC in UK, apply for an Indian business visa in UK and surrender Indian passport and Apply OCI - both in India?

Or is there a more better option given my situation? Kindly advise

Do you mean BP (British Passport) rather than BC (British Citizenship)?

It takes 6 - 12 months for a British passport application from India (they are all processed in the UK) and you would not be able to travel on your Indian passport 90 after your ceremony without incurring penalty fees.
