Confusion regarding absences - Please Help

Hello All

I have a quick question regarding the absence rule for the application of naturalization.

I am on ilr which I got through the long residence application last year. Now I am applying for citizenship on 1st feb 2016

I know that the total amount of absence should not be greater than 450 days in the last five years and 90 days in the last 12 months before the application

My total absences are 170 days which are well under 450 days. However these 170 days were taken in one go back in 2012 when I went out of the country in mid of july and came back in jan 2013. I had a valid leave when I left uk on july 15. This leave was expired while I was abroad so I applied for a new leave and came back inside the country within six months.

Have I maintained continuous residence for naturalization? Please advise

Thanks

No effect on your naturalisation application. Immigration rules and Nationality rules are different.
