Professional Referee

Hi,
I manage to get on referee (British) for Professional referee I got form signed from my friend limited company director but he dont hold British passport. He is on T1 on Pakistani passport.
Is it gonna cause any problem ?

The professional referee can be of any nationality.

One more question . Does referee has to put his passport # (professional non-British). Because on form it says "Current British citizen passport number (if any):"
So I am correct in thinking its only if the Referee is British.
Please help.

Is it mandatory to have company VAT registered , if professional referee is Director of Limited company.
