Naturalisation and passport applications pilot scheme

Hi,

As regular readers of the forum would know some local councils in UK are trialling this pilot scheme from September 2015 onwards where you can submit naturalisation application and passport application at the same time thus streamlining the process.

Currently, we don't have a resource in one thread which lists all the councils where this pilot scheme is being implemented.

The purpose of this thread is to collate all information we have so far to avoid calling each and every council nearby us to find out if they offer this service.

So if we can crowd-source this thread to find the names of all councils that will be a useful addition to this very informative forum. Maybe the thread will become a sticky if enough people contribute !!

I will start:

Name of council offering Pilot Scheme: Lancashire
Area:Preston, Accrington, Chorley or Lancaster
Webpage:http://www.lancashire.gov.uk/births-mar ... rvice.aspx
date checked: 03 Feb 2016

Name of council NOT offering Pilot Scheme:
Area:
Webpage:
date checked:

There is an active topic - not a sticky topic though, with a discussion around this pilot scheme which includes some of the councils participating in it. Would probably be best to continue there.

Hoping that this thread will be a lot less cluttery and to the point!

This thread will be lock. We do not need a duplicate thread with the same information.
