Baby born in uk parents on tier 1 VISA

Hi,
i came to uk 8 years ago as a student Iam currently on tier 1 visa and eligible for ILR April 2106 but i dont have enough points for ILR fortunately my work place has offered me tier 2 visa iam thinking to switch to tier 2 from Teir1 , my daughter was born in uk now she is 2 years and six months now
is any another way to my daughter can get British citizenship and when i can get ILR or any other suggestions please

Child is entitled to register as a citizen under s.1(3) of BNA when you (at least one parent) has settled status.
