Naturalisation and Cleared Points

Hi all,

I am applying for Naturalisation as a British Citizen.

I would like to know two things.

1. I did get 5 points and penalty from the court in 2011 (as I was late to surrender my licence within a certain time), do I have to declare them on my application? as DVLA site show my licence is clear now.

2. I have defaulted to a Bank in past, is this going to affect my application?

Thanks for reply in advance :)

1. Yes as that's a conviction - if 3 years has lapsed you should be ok.

2. It may have an effect, was the default settled and do you have a CCJ as a result?
