Hi I would be grateful if somebody can need help me in the naturalization application of my wife and a 4 years old baby.

I become British citizen (since June last year) and both my wife and baby received their ILR just 2 weeks ago. Can they apply for naturalization now or they have to wait one more year?

They have been living in the UK for nearly 4 years. I know that spouse eligibility requirement for naturalization is 3 years which they already fulfilled. But out of their 4 years UK living 2 years was FLR(M) dependent visa and 2 year was PSW dependent visa. Any problem to make it 3 years in total?

Is there any time limit of absence from UK after naturalization or any affect on citizenship for being absent for long time?

Applying for both should be fine yes.

No time limit.

Access to NHS may be restricted initially after a prolonged absence.

And if a British citizen has been away from the UK for more than 5/6 months, they are unable to claim benefits for 3 months.

Thanks for your reply and I am sorry to say that this late. Soso what about the baby? Can she apply along? or have to wait one year to qualify?

which form should I use for the baby is it MN1 or AN? Thanks again
(Just for your reminder that baby is 4 years old. Born in Bangladesh when I didn't receive my ILR. Came to the UK under dependant visa, both baby and her mother received their ILR last month. )

Form MN1 for the child. Form AN for the mother.
