Dear Senior members,
Please assist me as I am bit confused . We got our ILR in 2014.
I am applying for my daughter British Naturalisation , however I am bit confused about Life in UK test as well as English Language as she has done her GCSE from UK . She is now doing her level 3 diploma from the college. She is 1almost 19 years of age and started her schooling in UK in year 2010 to present. Please let me know if my child have to give Life in UK test as well as English test .

Seniors response would be much much appreciated.

If she don't have to give life in UK as well s English test than what need to be written on the naturalisation form, please advise with many thanks

Kindest Regards

As your daughter is over 18, she is now considered to be an adult. She will have to pass B1 level English from an approved test provider and the Life in the UK test. Does she have ILR?

She will need to do an English test as well as Life in the UK. Unfortunately GCSE doesn't count for anything. You can find a list of the approved English tests and centres on the document below:

Naturalisation requires a minimum of level B1.
