Employment history

Hi
I applied for naturalisation in Oct 2015 and awaiting results.

I was reading through recent posts on employment history and remembered my application form.

I was employed in a company for 5years and I had to leave that job as I was moving to a different city. But the company offered me 1 month extension on my last day to work from home from other city.

Although I was working for same organisation, I was employed by an umbrella company. In my naturalisation application I completely forgot about the umbrella company employment of one month and wrote an extra month in main company name.

When home office verify my employment history with hmrc... Will this discrepancy cause any problems?

I think you shouldn't worry about it. they will look at the period of time you worked and that should be reflected on P60s .

You should be fine.
