Hi all

I gained my Indefinite Leave To Remain in UK in November 2013.I passed my Life in the UK Test in the September 2013 and also submitted my degree in law with a certificate from the Indian university that my degree was taught in English.

I now am applying for citizenship in a weeks time but not clear if I need to take any further English qualifications or tests for same?

Also, how do I get my home office reference number? The correspondences I have on me is a letter from home office granting ILR and has a unique reference number and a case ID. Do I need to leave the space blank?

Kindly help all.
Thanks.

the same below i replied in a diff post too...

in my NCS appointment i have been told by NCS personnel that i need to choose:

"I met the knowledge of language and life requirement to qualify for settlement on or after 28th October 2013"

As I met all the requirements in previous tier 1, ilr application. although i took all the english requirement proof to the appointment he just mentioned to click that option as its already been proved.

But saying that i am still waiting for my application outcome

might be the caseworker will require additional proofs, not sure.. then if reqd. i need to forward

moderators will be having a diff opinion on which option to choose as they are more experienced. i would say wait n see what others reply to your query

cheer
