MN1 decision letter lost in post-request for duplicate

Hello all,
My daughter MN1 decision letter lost in the post which I found out when I enquired from HO after passing the six months three weeks ago. HO told me that they made decision in December 2015 and they sent the decision letter in December 2015 but I have never received it. They told me that I should write to Liverpool and request for the decision duplicate letter, which I did two weeks ago.
I don’t know how long it will take now for them to send me another decision letter it is nearly 7 months now.
Is anyone been in this situation?
