Dear members,

I have NCS Dartford tomorrow for the JNP (Joint Natutalisation and Passport)
Could you please let me know if I need to submit the below:

1. Employer Letter
2. Last 3 months bank Statements
3. last 3 months pay slips

Also, do I need to fill in mobile number in Section 2 of Passport application?
The reason I am asking is because in Dartford council office website, they have mentioned not to write mobile number in Section 2 of the Passport application form (http://www.kent.gov.uk/births-ceremonie ... ng-service). I have already filled in the form with my mobile number.

Please advise

Many Thanks,
Ramanathan PL

Hi ramanathan,

I my view no need to submit
1. Employer Letter
2. Last 3 months bank Statements
3. last 3 months pay slips

as there is no requirement.

Just fill in the details they have asked you on the form ( previous employment history if you are employed)

Do not write mobile number in section 2 of the passport form

If you have a spare form fill it again, if you don't have you can grab one form the Post office ( some councils can provide you with the Passport form , but filling it on SPOT will waste time )

Hi there,

Many thanks for your reply. Only the mobile number and alternate phone number I should not mention, right? Can I mention my email id?

I have taken referral declaration for my passport application as well, but I went through this forum and Dartford council website, looks like referral declarationand counter sign on passport photo are not needed.
In case if they ask for referral signatory as well for the passport application, I can provide this form, but the issue is, I have mentioned my mobile and alternate phone numbers

Regards

Hi ramanathan,

I think either you got me wrong or i got you wrong,

Its only the passport forms you need to fill in again, you dont need refree signatures on the passport refrees need to sign on ONLY passport forms if applying through JCAP.

If the AN forms are OK ( refrees have alraeady signed) there is no need to change them and ask the refrees to sign again.

Hi

Very soon I am applying for my children's nationality and passport via JCAP.
I gather that 2 referees are needed for registration (MN1 form) and 1 referee for British passport, please correct me if I am wrong.

Many thanks
M

Hi Kmaa,

I you are applying JCAP then referees only need to sign the AN & MN1 form.

No need for the referees to sign the passport form.

Hi,

I submitted the documents on 7th on JCAP scheme. I applied passport application forms of myself, my wife and son without filling mobile number in section 2, instead filled in section 8.

But I have one query in the birth certificate of my son. He was born in India and the mother's name's initial is misspelt. Instead of initial 'L' it is 'R', which I never noticed until at the NCS. The lady had asked me to fill in why it is not correct and give explanation in page 31. Since we got his Indian passport soon after his birth, we had mother's and father's names correct in his passport then.

I have written in page 31 of MN1 as, the mother's name in birth certificate should have initial 'L' instead of 'R', but we left as is but have it correct in his passport.

Could anyone please let me know if this would be an issue? I am really worried about his application. He is 9 years old.

Thanks
