Does Home Office contact CSI provider in my home country?

Hello

I was wondering if anyone of you know if the Home Office will contact my private insurance provider in Poland to verify the letter I will be including in the application which states that I have been covered under majority of circumstances for the required dates. Is it normal for the home office to contact the insurer?

Thank you
Daniel

Hi,

Personally if it looks dodgy then they'd contact the insurance provider, but I was not from EU nations so I would await further replies. Good luck.

They may do....and if they did, would there be a problem?

There might be a problem as the insurance company no longer exist and thus it might look suspicious. I would not want to state that in the application from the outset as that might look even more suspicious, so my hope is that the home office will not contact the insurer. Any thoughts?

I doubt they would contact them as long as your documents look genuine.
