Hi All,

I will be applying for citizenship soon and have a query regarding to Referees.

I am a software professional in Barclays so have identified a senior manager who would act as 1 referee.

I am hoping to use my letting agent as the 2nd referee, can you please confirm is it ok to use letting agent as 2nd referee?

According to Referees: List of acceptable professional person Broker is an accepted profession and seems to be near to a letting agent?

It might be a better to get a HR Manager or Recruitment Manager within your company to sign as 2nd referee, I did the same for my application.

But still would like a senior to confirm if Letting agent can be used or not?

the second referee doesn't need to be professional. Just a British and over 25 will do if they know you for more than three years.

The senior manager is good for the first referee as well.
