Hello, i am filling out the form to apply for British citizenship, however I am stuck on one of the part of the question, criminal conviction. I currently have a sp30 ( £100 fine and 3 points) on my liecence which happen on the 1th of May 2014 I also didn't go court for this. Will is effect me in any way? Has anyone gone through this and been fine ?

So when filling out the form it ask if there was a sentence given and date of sentenced ? Do I leave that blank ? Where do I put the date of my conviction?

Thank you!

If you accepted the fixed penalty, and it's the only one you've had in the last few years, it won't be a problem.

You could write it in the additional information box.

Thank you for the reply, yes i accepted the fine and didnt go court for it. i only have one speeding ticket.
so i should leave the sentence bit blank and date black, then go to additional information box and fill in the date?

Thanks
