Hi everyone,
i need help..
my situation-
came to uk in july 2011 after marriage on tier 1 dependent visa
i got my tier 1 extension in april 2013 and at the same time my husband got his ILR. i didnt qualify for the ILR that time as we have not completed 2 years after marriage.
my husband got british citizenship in april 2015.
i got my ILR in march 2016.
my question is when can i apply for naturalization? as a spouse of british citizen can i apply immediately? or do i need to wait 1 year after my ILR?
i spoke to one of the solicitor, he says i need to wait 1 year for naturalization after ILR and it doesnt matter even if iam a spouse of british citizen.
please guys help me out with this as we are planning to move to other country on work purpose.

The solicitor has given you poor advice. As the spouse of a BC and having completed 3 years of residence you can apply immediately after being granted ILR assuming you meet all the standard requirements.
