Hi all

- Came on a visitors visa in Dec. 2003 after deciding to leave hubby coz
of abuse.
- In 2004 wrongly advised and applied for student visa in time and refused.
- In 2004pproached a solicitor to apply as victim of domestic abuse from my former husband
- 2007 discovered solicitor had lied to me, did not send the visa
application dispite paying him.
- Dec 2007 approached another solicitor who then send application victim of domestic abuse
- April 2008 after divorce married British citizen and solicitor sent application as spouse of British citizen.
- July 2010 got discretionary leave to remain as spouse of British national
- July 2013 received another discretionary leave to remain
- I got my ILR last week June 10

I would like to find out when I can apply for naturalisation.

Thanking you in advance for any advise and replies

Suspect only in 2020 - 10 years from the date your stay was legalised.

No need to wait.

As you are the spouse of a BC you may apply as soon as all other requirements can be (or have been) met.
Use Form AN from Gov UK website.

Good luck.

Except for the pesky little 'good character' requirement and a long period of no legal status :?
