Hi All,
I am asking this query on behalf of one of my friend as he's not really good with computers and stuffs like that.
Just wanted to request the respected group members, seniors or even moderators if they can provide me with a step to step guide how to apply for British Citizenship for the kids born in Pakistan of a British Father that would be great help. Any links where I can access this information will also be very useful.
Waiting for your useful replies.
Many thanks

Was the father born in the UK? If so, the children are already British citizens by descent.

Hi,
Thanks a lot for your prompt reply to my query.
No the father got his British Nationality in the year 2010 and now he wants to apply british passport for his kids.
I have gone through the link you have provided me in your reply. Well thanks a lot for providing me with this information but I am more interested to see a step to step guide how to apply for MN1 or British Citizenship for the kids born in Pakistan. Whereas you have provided me with the rules and regulations which I don't find them very useful to my query at all.
Any ways thanks a lot for your kind and prompt reply.
Any more helpful replies just a step to step guide would be great please.
Waiting for your useful replies.
Many thanks

Your friend is going to have to do some of the heavy lifting herself.
With so little information noone can supply step by step that will apply to them.
Suggest start with forum FAQs. You will see the children need to be in UK with ILR first of all. As do the parent/s (if not both BC).

How about giving us some actual information instead of making us play a guessing game then??
(Moderator edit)
You can't "apply for MN1" - MN1 is the form used to apply for registration as a British citizen for minors. You cannot get a British passport unless you are a British citizen.
If the children were born before the father was naturalised, they obviously will not be British citizens automatically. They can be registered as British citizens at the discretion of the home secretary but they are expected to have ILR and for their future to lie in the UK.

Hi,
Thanks a lot for your prompt and extremely useful replies.
I do apologies for creating this confusion by not correctly identifying the topic for which I need help for.
I'll try to explain the scenario again.
The father is a British citizen and he got his British citizenship in 2010.
He has got two children born in Pakistan more precisely in Islamabad, Pakistan. One is 4 years old and the other one is I am guessing 2 years old.
All he wanted to know is that how can he be able to apply for their British Citizenships while they are in Pakistan as he's planning to bring his family to UK and instead of going through the visa application process for his childrens, as I think they are entitled to apply for British Citizenship please correct me if I am wrong.
All I wanted to know is the step to step guide on how to start this process in Pakistan I mean to enquire which forms he has complete where he has to go for the biometrics if there's any biometrics requirements for his children to acquire British citizenship.
I do really apologies once again and would really appreciate your help in this scenario.
Waiting for your useful replies.
Thanking you once again.

If his kids were born after he was naturalised, then he
may apply for their
British passports directly.

Hi Respected Moderator,
Thanks a lot for your prompt reply.
His first child was born in 2012 and his second child was born in 2014 and he got his naturalisation in 2010.
that's exactly what I wanted to know how he can apply for the first British Passports from Pakistan for his kids I just need the step by step procedure which he has to follow in order to accomplish this.
Waiting for your useful replies.
Many thanks

All overseas passport applications are processed in the UK, regardless of where the application is submitted. The process can take 6 to 12 months before the children get their passports in their home country.
