British passport for a EEA child born in the uk

Hello
My nephew was born in oct 2014 in England to eu (Hungarian citizens) they followed the 5 year law (they've been here for 11 years) apart from the last year (and have 11 years p60s) but have been working and paying their own way for the whole period, they wanted dual nationality for their son but don't know what to do now,any advice would be great.

If they registered promptly under the WRS, then your nephew is British. The evidence that would need to be submitted to get him a passport is the evidence that the parents had permanent residence (through 5 years of treaty rights) when he was born. (If the parents have been living in the UK all this time and are married, both of them will have had PR when he was born. Only one parent needs to have permanent residence for the child to be British.)
