Hello,

I received my Permanent Residency Card over a year ago. I want to apply for British Naturalisation now and my question is - do I still need to proof residence in UK for the last 5 years?

Many thanks,
Monika

Yes, unless married to a British spouse.
And to prove you were physically present in UK 5 years to the day from date of application.

Thank you for your reply.

How can I do that? I've heard that usually passport is enough, but my passport has expired in 2013.

Do you think a tenancy agreement would be sufficient?
