Hi Gurus,
I am new to this forum, Could you please help me with my below issue.

I got my ILR based on 5 years Tier 1 Gen visa on 01 Oct 2015. Since 5.8 years, i was living in the same property . And also i am full time employee from the day one, i came to UK. But suddenly My company gave notice, And my current job finishes by end of July. The current propery where i was living was provided by my employer, So i have to vacate by July end. Currenly I had some financial problems, So i can't live in UK with out job. As i haven't taken any holidays after my ILR approval, As per the current rules I can be away 90 days from UK. I am planning to go my home country from 1 Aug 2016 to 24th Sept 2016 for holiday. After my holiday, I will be moving to shared accommodation, So i will be applying my naturalization application on 30th Sept 16 via NCS appointment, I will make sure my application reach Homeoffice on 1st Oct 2016. In this scenario, I had below doubts.

1) Can I apply Naturalization application on 30th Sept 2016, And Make sure NCS to send to HomeOffice by 1st October.

2) Is it required to show current address proof ? If yes Please suggest how can i show address proof.

3) As i was staying in shared accommodation, I dont be paying council tax from 1st Aug 2016 onwards, It will effect my naturalization application ?

4) After submitting my biometrics, i can go to my home country and come back on my ceremony date? [My friends will help me to monitor on my Homeoffice letters and booking ceromony with council.]

1. Yes, date of application is the date you submit at NCS. Make sure you were physically present in the UK on 30 September 2011, the start of your qualifying period.

4. Yes, unless HO asks your for more documents/passport etc (which has happened).

Thanks alot for quick response, I was physically present in UK from 1 Sept 2010, As My ILR valid & approved on 1st Oct 2015. Can i apply naturalization application on 30th Sept 2016 i.e Friday from NCS ?

My friends were staying in the same house, They will be monitoring and updating me about my posts. So no worries, If home office asks to provide something i will come back UK [This will be 10% chances, So i will take risk].

1) Date of NCS appointment is your date of application.
Let NCS worry about transporting the bundle in internal mail or by whatever means. That's what you're paying for.

2) Read the guidance!

Contract, bills, council tax, tax documents, medical registration (doctor/dentist/optician), voter registration, drivers license, insurance documents, library, gym membership & etc,

3) Someone must be paying it?!

Paying CT is not a prerequisite for naturalisation.

4) What about follow up questions and any subsequent document requests from HO?

thanks for your reply, Sorry to bother you. But i want to understand on the below.

1) As i got ILR on 1st Oct 2015, So can i submit my application at NCS on 30th Sept 2016 or 1st Oct 2016 ?

2) As i was vacating current house on 31th July 2016 And going to home country and will be return to UK on 24th Sept 2016 to new shared accommodation. So i may not get any address proof. But i can change my bank address new house and get the latest bank statement to show as a address proof.

3) As it was shared accommodation landlord will be paying full council tax on that property. But my name will not be on the records. In this case, is there any effect on my application ?

4) My friend will be staying in that house, So he can read my post and inform to me via phone. If required i will travel back to UK in case of emergency.

1. For the sake of one day and to be sure you meet the requirements,is it really a big issue to just apply on 1 Oct?

2. You DO NOT need proof of address for citizenship applications.

3. It DOES NOT matter. It is not a requirement to be named on Council tax for a citizenship application.

4. Fine, if that is what you want to do. What about being in the UK to enroll your biometrics??

(I was thinking more of proof of residence and presence in UK, bearing in mind all the travel plans).
