When my wife applied for ILR in June 2014 she has submitted following documents for English language requirement:
1. PBS calculator Print out (recognising university and degree)
2. Original degree and Master certificate (From INDIA)
Can she submit the same now for naturalisation or Is it mandatory to get UK NARIC certificate?
In "FAQs - English language requirements" for naturalisation I have seen this:
Q2: Which are the Exempt categories?:
You don’t need to prove your knowledge of English if you:
1. met this requirement, on or after 28th October 2013, in order to obtain settlement (ILR or PR),
Is this exemption still valid now? Please help!!

Yes it is still valid but HO can and often do ask applicants to submit proof of English after you have applied. PBS Calculator is also no longer accepted, in case she is asked to submit English proof.

I was under the impression the above referred to those who used a English B1 test that was no longer on the current list but was used for ILR after 28 October 2013.
According to
this link, anyone with a English B1 test that has either run out or no longer on the current list can still use the certificate for Naturlisation as is cleared stated:
It doesn’t matter if the B1 level test you took isn’t on the current list of recognised tests. You don’t need to take another test.
Hence if asked for evidence, the certificae used for ILR can be provided.
For the case of the OP relying on a degree,
this link provides more info. As CR001 has provided out, PBS calculator is no longer accepted and the link does not provide any reference to using the same PBS calculator that was used for settlement.
So if asked for provide evidence for English then IMO you wouldn't be able to rely on PBS anymore so you would still have to demonstarte the degree meets the English standard and the way of doing this is by UK NARIC.
Better to be on the safe side rather than risk it, I'd get confirmation from UK NARIC.

Thank You WR1 and CR001 for your quick and valuable replies.
I found following statement in AN Booklet:
https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... e_2016.pdf
If you have already satisfied the requirement to have sufficient knowledge of language and life in the UK for settlement, by applying on or after 28 October 2013, you do not have to demonstrate it again.
This clearly states, that who got ILR after 28 Oct 2013, do not have to demonstrate it again.
I think this exemption applies, but why to risk with £1200 application.

Thank You CR001.
It seems that application will NOT be rejected on this basis. If case worker demands UK NARIC certificate, then I can then apply and sent it to HO after I receive it.

Be aware that if this happens, HO often give you a limited time to respond before simply rejecting the application. In some cases, it might not be enough time to get the NARIC certificate and get it to them!

Yes, usually 10 days to respond to HO. NARIC takes almost the same time, if you are lucky.
