Hi All,

First of all would like to thank you for the advice and guidance that you guys have extended to me.

i have a quick question regarding MN1 application.

We are planning to register our child as a British citizen for which we have to fill the MN1 form as she is born in the UK (2013) and my wife got her ILR in march 2016, i am on spouse visa. We want to know the whole process for this application (MN1 application). Is there a one day service for the same?

As usual awaiting your responses...

Regards
Mahender

No, there is no one day service for ANY citizenship applications.

Complete the form, get referees, submit using NCS (you get to keep ALL original documents/passports if you use NCS), wait for certificate to arrive after a few months.

Hi,

Many thanks for your response. we are under the process of filling the form and here is a problem that we have come across..
1. the GP/Health Visitor is unable to give reference due to change in services . in this case who else can give reference?

2. we had to travel to India in 2015 so we had to apply for her visa so that she could come back & this expires 20th of august 2016. can we still apply for her MN1 as her visa expires, she was born in the uk and my wife got her iLR in march 2016.

Awaiting your response....

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Mahender

1. Pharmacist, anyone else the child interacts with? Any friends that are professionals that know the child?

2. Yes you can still apply, the child is entitled to register and does not require 'valid leave'.
