I'm about to send in my form UKM, shouldn't be a problem, I tick all the boxes. I just remembered that one of my referees was done for cannibis possession in the 1980's (small amount, just fined £250). It's now a 'spent conviction' of course'. I think the only problem with referees are 'imprisonable offences', which this clearly wasn't! Can anyone imagine this being an issue? Thanks!

Your referees also need to be of good character. If HO has a problem with a referee, they will likely write to you and ask for another, causing a delay.
