AN aplication and an old CCJ

Hi all
This is my first post. I am in process of completing AN form, and have a question about CCJ which is over 10 years ols, fully satisfied and basically non existent ( doesn't appear on my credit file nor on ccj register). My question is- do I really need to declare it? Surely UKBA will not be able to find it anywhere?

Just to say that when I did my PR 2 years ago, it completely slipped out of my mind and I ticked 'no' box when asked about any ccj's...

So they must have checked and not found anything? What if I declare it now, and did not declare it on my PR?
Are they able to compare my two applications?

Really worried, please help!

CCJ's are removed after 6 years. You could mention it in the additional information box, but HO almost certainly won't care about it.

Just to let you know that one of my friend had a 6 year old CCJ fully satisfied and paid. He did declare it on his AN form and didnt have any issues. If its over 10 years old, it wont appear on your credit file etc I believe. You can ask whether a 10 year old CCJ needs to be declared as a general question from their nationality contact centre without providing any personal information from 0300 123 2253

Thanks for your reply. I would have no issues with declaring it if only I had declared it on my PR application 2 years ago. I know that I would be on the safe side if I declared it now, on the other side I don't want to give the HO any reasons to reject my application on being deceptive grounds. So I think that since it is practically non-existent that I am not going to mention it. Many thanks :D
