Hello

I got naturalisation certificate last month and i applied for British passport.

HM Passport office called me today and advise me that my place of birth spell is wrong on naturalisation certificate.

Now they ask me to send pre paid envelope and advise me to contact Home office.

Is anybody know whom should i contact and how?

Are they going to charge me and how long it take now to get correct certificate?

any information on it is much appreciated.

Did you check the certificate when you first got it to make sure all the details when you got it? You are told to do this!

You will need to return the certificate to the Home Office for correction, they will most likely charge you for this but if it is their mistake then you should ask them to waive the fee which they hopefully will do.

The bad news is that these certificate corrections tend to take AGES.
