I received my permanent residence card over 7 years now, but right now I am unemployed, I have never claimed benefit or anything from the government, I have always sustained myself financially.

Do I need to be employed first before applying? I was checking the website application and there is that section of employment which need to be filled up.

the guy at the Airport check told me to queue next time with EU passports check because he told me this residency card is considered as a British citizen.

Here's my card ( I have omitted all personal information)

No need to be employed.
Have you spent any time outside UK since acquiring PR?

If you meet all requirements then you can apply.

Thank you noajthan for your quick reply.

I do travel abroad, mainly for holidays but never for over 25 days at a time.
