I was cought for trying to exchange a fake South Africa License for full uk license over ten years ago. I was also refused ILR by homeoffice on the grounds of arranged marriage but i was prosecuted in court ten years ago. i was also done for driving without insurance ten years ago. I have not had any other minor offences for the past 5 years. I had ILR 8 years ago and i qualifies for all others. Under good character requirement,
Can i apply for naturalisation now? can i ever apply for this?

I am particularly refering to article 8.2 of the link you provided. The information there is restricted and for internal use only. What i would like to know is if anybody know of timescale to which such offences be ignored or people with such background can never apply for citizenship?
The information there did not elaborate on how they will deal with such matters. Ways arround it is restricted to internal use only.
Has anybody experienced such problem recently?
