MN1 need PR proof?

Hi, my family is Romanian, leaving/working in UK since 2007. In 2008 we had a child. Only in 2015 November applied for PR, but for some silly reason not for the child. Can we register him only for British citizenship without the PR, or have to have his own. (parents does`t want to naturalise) Thank you for the answer.

If your child was fortunate enough to be born in UK she will be entitled to register as a citizen under section 1(3) of BNA
as soon as one parent has settled status (PR).
So if born in UK no need for DCPR for child. Clever baby!
