First Adult Passport - Change of Address

Hi All,

Hope all are fine. Well first of all thank you all for all the help over the years in every step of my visa/immigration processes. Finally I've become a British Citizen and now I've applied for my First Adult British Passport.

I've applied for the Passport and about a week back, received letter from Passport Office to book an interview. When I called them, I was able to get a date for an interview but then I told them that I'll be changing my address in the next couple of days, they cancelled my interview date and asked me to inform the Passport office of this change and then re-apply for interview once I receive a new letter from the Passport office. I've looked everywhere but couldn't find any information relating to what I should include when informing the Passport office, if there is a number where I could call!

Can anyone please help me in this regard as I really need to send this information out as soon as possible as time is running out and I do not want to miss the opportunity to be interviewed and re-apply for Passport.

Thanking in advance for all the help.

I don't understand. If you were able to call them once before, then why don't you call them again?

Hi vinny,
Actually I called the number provided in the letter to book an interview appointment. The advisor I talked to told me that I need to contact Passport Office and tell them of the change. He told me that he will not be able to help me in this regard. Now I am not sure if I need to provide just the new address to them or also send any document as proof of address (which I believe I won't be able to provide before my first bill arrives in a months time). Or if there is a passport office helpline number where I could call them and talk to them
Thanks
