Hello Everyone
I got my ILR last year and I am about to make the Citizenship application, I wondered if my ILR could be used as my proof of residency along with my travel document which covers only the last year?

Thanks

Which travel document do you have and do you have copies of it before last year? If not, why not?

Do you have copies of any such earlier travel documents? Were they submitted with earlier Home office applications?

Thank you Simon for your reply

I have a conventional travel document (Blue) which i applied for a year ago just before i apply for my ILR. My old travel document (Also a conventional) was lost so it was not submitted, I explained the situation in my ILR application and my application was approved. I have copies of the lost one but only the main pages.

My question is, because the ILR itself has residency requirement, and my ILR application was approved, could it be used as a proof of residency?

The residency/absence rules are different for ILR and naturalisation. So compliance with one does not prove compliance with the other.
Read AN guidance for what's required. Its quite clear.
